Nanobead vs microbead vs tape extensions: which is right for your hair?

·

All three add length and density, and all three are fitted in the salon after a consultation. The difference is the attachment, and the attachment decides what suits your hair.

Nanobeads are the smallest fitting we use. A tiny bead clamps a strand to your own hair near-invisibly at the root. This is the one for fine hair, where anything bulkier would show, and for anyone who wears their hair up often.

Microbeads are the classic bead fitting: a small aluminium-lined bead threaded per section and clamped. The hair is reusable, and the set is refitted at your maintenance cycle as your own hair grows.

Tape is a weft taped flat between thin sections of your own hair. It is the quickest to fit and sits flush, so it suits people who want maximum coverage with the least chair time.

The right answer depends on your hair density, lifestyle and budget, which is exactly what the consultation is for. Book an extensions consultation and we will match you.
