The Diamond Lounge was opened by Katrina with a single intent: to give Kingston upon Hull a salon that takes the time the work needs. A proper shopfront for hair — reception, seating, three styling chairs, a dedicated backwash, a bathroom — and, separately, a private beauty room for aesthetics: clinical, clean, properly kitted out. Hair is the heart of what we do. Cuts that hold their shape, colour with depth that reads in any light, braids built with controlled tension and clean geometry. We work in real consultation, not the clipboard kind. You leave with hair that suits your life, not just the photograph.

The Space
By appointment, on Anlaby Road.
The salon sits at 398 Anlaby Road, in the west of Kingston upon Hull. Reception and a seating area at the front, three styling chairs, a dedicated backwash, and a bathroom. The beauty room is a separate, private space, set up specifically for aesthetics — clinical, clean, properly kitted out. No walk-ins. Book ahead, arrive when you said you would, and the room is ready.
