Booking terms.

These terms cover appointments booked with The Diamond Lounge, online or in the salon. Last updated 13 August 2026.

Deposits

Most appointments require a deposit to secure the slot. The deposit is held against your final bill, so it comes off the cost of your treatment. The exact amount is shown before you pay.

Deposits are non-refundable. What happens if plans change is set out below.

Changing or cancelling

• At least 48 hours before your appointment: we can move your appointment and your deposit moves with it. If you would rather cancel, the deposit becomes salon credit valid for 90 days.
• Less than 48 hours before, or if you do not attend: the deposit is kept. It covers the chair time we were not able to offer to anyone else.

The easiest way to change an appointment is the link in your confirmation email. You can also call the salon.

Patch tests

Colour services need a patch test at least 48 hours beforehand, and some treatments need a consultation first. We cannot skip this. Without a valid patch test we are unable to carry out the service, and the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation.

Prices and timings

Many prices are shown as a starting point because the final cost depends on the length and condition of your hair and on the look you are after. We will always confirm the price with you at consultation, before any work begins. Appointment lengths are estimates for the same reason.

Running late

Please let us know if you are delayed. We will do what we can, but if there is not enough time left to finish the service properly we may need to shorten it or rebook you, and the late cancellation terms may apply.

Treatments and suitability

Aesthetic treatments are for clients aged 18 and over, and are carried out only after consultation. Please tell us about any medical conditions, allergies, medication or pregnancy before your appointment, as some treatments will not be suitable. If we judge a treatment unsafe for you we will say so and suggest an alternative.

Payment

We accept card payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Deposits are taken online at the time of booking; the balance is settled in the salon.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here at the time you book is the one that applies to your appointment.
